DCI Frank Burnside 3,870 Posted July 21 Did think he was out quite quickly given what the operation was for. I know it can be less intrusive nowadays but still would have thought he'd been in for a few days before he'd be discharged

harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy 1,683 Posted August 2 The great umpire in the sky will have to raise the finger to uphold the appeal; I can’t see Geoffrey walking. Even then, there’ll be a shake of the head as he trudges off, followed by a whinge about a poor decision as he climbs the pavilion steps one last time. For now, he remains in the corridor of uncertainty.
JonNgoat 129 Posted September 15 New picture of Geoffrey and Sachin Tendulkar. Not looking too bad, all things considered. https://x.com/geoffreyboycott/status/1835044051885998437

I would argue Alan Bennett is something of a professional Yorkshireman. Find it amazing that Bird is still going given he looked old and frail when umpiring 30 plus years ago. Boycott has now had two bouts of cancer and a quadruple heart bypass. Many lesser mortals wouldn't still be here.

If e's a professional Yorkie I'll go t'bottom of t'stairs" (blah blah etc). Old Godot was a bit of a pro-Yorkie wasn't he? Lived/lives in Surrey if I remember rightly. Geoffrey looking well, although being stabbed by a lightsaber may not be ideal for his recovery 1
