Mind telling us who he was / what he was known for? We’re not psychic.

The Grim Reaper said 'F Yu' to Yu Fu.

(I just wanted to win 2025 Headline of the Year now, so now that we've gotten that overwith...)

Political cartoonist and writer Lin Gui-yu has died. He was 64. He was best known by the pseudonym Yu Fu. According to Lin's family, he died of lung cancer.

Lin began publishing political cartoons in a political commentary magazine in the 1980s and became known for challenging restrictions on freedom of speech
before martial law was lifted in 1987.

He was the first cartoonist ever to draw a political cartoon of late President Chiang Ching-kuo after martial law was lifted and he was seen as a pioneer of political commentary.

Mike Toth, an animator with 30+ years of credits between 1980 and 2011, who worked on series including He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and the Ghostbusters animated cartoon, died December 29th. Toth had long battled alcoholism, believed to be the key factor in his death.
