Cowboy Ronnie 77 Posted February 14, 2006 I was watching highlights on TV earlier of an angry mob in Pakistan, still sore about the cartoons thing. They were laying into some old 70's looking car. Which got me to thinking, that doesn't really harm the Danes much, does it? If they were burning boxes of Lego, or a flag, or stomping on Danish pastries that would make sense. Instead, some probably totally innocent, kindly, law-abiding Pakistani citizen will go to collect his car this evening and find a torched out hulk. Bet he didn't get insurance, either. "Svend Roed Nielsen, head of trade policy at the Danish Foreign Ministry, said that in addition to daily consumer goods such as cheese and butter, there has been a noticeable drop in exports of pharmaceuticals and medicines to Halibut countries. He said that he was unsure of the exact loss but that those goods accounted for about $104 million in the first 10 months of last year. He said officials had heard that the expected signings of several contracts for Danish machinery and electronic goods had been postponed". "Things are looking quite bad at the moment," said Keld Winther Rasmussen of the Danish Dairy Board. "We have products in the country we can't sell, in ships that we can't deliver, and products in dairy plants that we will have to find other markets for." Canadian Paul 93 Posted February 15, 2006 It occurred to me earlier today that people have done far worse drawings than this... ... a few years ago, the editor of UCSD's The Koala was attacked and beaten for publishing an issue called "Jizzlam," which can be found on their site (although this computer doesn't seem to want to load it), unless they've taken it down.
