weatherman90 7 Posted February 11, 2006 Hello Fellow Deathlisters. Although a bit late, I have decided to start my own deathpool. You can read all about it on THIS page. The pool begins on March 31, 2006 and will end on March 31, 2007. This is a chance to finally start a new pool with all the picks that you forgot to pick last time! Good luck to all who join! in eternum+ 22 Posted February 11, 2006 W90 - Couldn't help noticing that Qualtoo removed the link to your new dead pool from the Wiki Dead Pool site, stating "This internal link doesn't belong". How strange that a link to a dead pool doesn't belong in the Wiki Dead Pool entry!

I think being notable and valid for Wiki, in the end, is subjective and relative.
weatherman90 7 Posted February 12, 2006 ...Anyone interested in joining? I think I know why they removed it....I had it under "external links", when it should have been under "internal links". Perhaps I should place it again...in the right spot this time.

weatherman90 7 Posted February 15, 2006 Come on DL'ers! This is your "once in a lifetime" opportunity to pick the picks that you wish you would have picked for your 2006 picks. So start picking.

I'm probably going to, I just want to wait until closer to the deadline... I'm sure your entries will pick up around that time.

Canadian Paul 97 Posted March 5, 2006 To anyone thinking of joining this or other deadpools that begin in less than a month (IE. Rotten Deadpool), this may be of interest: The Final Days of Art Buchwald. Won't make it 2007, so no good for DL or DDP, but if anyone's thinking of joining Rotten, it's an easy point. Tempus Fugit 214 Posted March 6, 2006 Just a short 25 days to the DEAD-line I almost certainly will submit a team, but your scoring does seem to be very biased against the elderly. Maybe this is a reflection of your tender years.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted March 6, 2006 I almost certainly will submit a team, but your scoring does seem to be very biased against the elderly. I was thinking the same thing. Makes it difficult to accumulate points if you pick people that might actually die.
weatherman90 7 Posted March 7, 2006 Thanks, I got your picks up on the page Phantom. By the way, if anyone doesn't have a Wikipedia account...just sign your deathlist user name instead.
weatherman90 7 Posted March 8, 2006 Just a short 25 days to the DEAD-line I almost certainly will submit a team, but your scoring does seem to be very biased against the elderly. Maybe this is a reflection of your tender years. I made up the scoring one night...I didn't realize that I made it so severe so that 76 year olds only scored one point! I have since adjusted the scoring to a more reasonable level; I might also add the Joker option; just as the Derby Dead Pool.
