One shot Paddy 1,209 Posted January 22, 2007 I think I'd prefer to be donated to medical science ... to save on funeral costs. Buried, I won't give a sh*t about funeral costs, I won't be getting the bill!
Slave to the Grave 26 Posted January 22, 2007 I think I'd prefer to be donated to medical science ... to save on funeral costs. Don't the bits they can't use still have to have a burial or are they then fed to the pigs/dogs? I'm hoping to be so old and/or worn out when I go that I won't be wanted for medical science. I quite like the idea of burial at sea, failing that cremation.

Here they cremate the remains and return them to the next of kin.
Windsor 2,235 Posted January 22, 2007 I will be buried. I already own my plot.
Razor Boy 19 Posted January 23, 2007 Both my wife and I want to cremated and then our ashes mixed together and scattered on the hill overlooking the sea. Not so practical if one of us snuffs it 20 years before the other -- Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change.
Kain 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Fed to pigs has its appeal. Given the amoount of bacon / sausage / pork, etc I consume it feels like I'd be doing my bit for recycling

Madame Defarge 21 Posted January 24, 2007 I've voted for burial but it will have to be New Orleans style which is above ground. That's because I want a big fancy lalapalooza of a New Orleans style funeral complete with professional mourners, heads of state and of course if Windsor has been made Knight of the Garter or whatever by the time I pass on, he is definitely invited. There will also be plenty of cakes for throwing purposes if Tempus out-lives me and chooses to attend.
BrunoBrimley 86 Posted January 26, 2007 I plan to be embalmed and placed in a nifty clear display case for all to view and see me and remember me for centuries to come.

Have you been to Vietnam? If so I believe you would also be doing your bit for recycling as far as dogs are concerned too. Assuming you chose our canine best friend. Those of a delicate constitution are advised against the links below, then again you are on DEATHLIST so I figure you'd cope with a gross out: I couldn't decide which was more graffic, the Beeb telling of Cruella de Ville cutting up little Fido (for some reason I have an image of live puppies in a big shiny bowl on a weighing scale looking all cute and cuddly then bang down goes the cleaver... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/1735647.stm Or this for the photos... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_meat Oh and FYI I went for acid, HF preferably
