tracy 2,617 Posted October 24, 2024 Well, they've left David Attenborough off the list for the last two years, and if he was a miss the forum would explode. Clint is four years younger and he still seems very active (there's also a photo of him, in his office, reviewing scripts for his next project from earlier this month), so I think he'll probably be dropped, although, yeah, if this year wasn't so awful I think they'd just leave him on until he dies like DVD.
YorkshireBanker 174 Posted October 24, 2024 If the list finishes in singles digit he will be likely on the chopping line due to almost all of the carryover's being more likely hits.

He wouldn't be the worst drop, as long as we bring him back for 2026. https://x.com/EastwoodMalpaso/status/1848826518727692671 the bad picture quality makes him look 30 years younger

Deathrace 1,220 Posted January 17 He's "doing good" according to his son Scott https://metro.co.uk/2025/01/17/clint-eastwoods-son-gives-update-fathers-well-being-partners-death-22385562/
tracy 2,617 Posted January 17 There was a brief clip of him golfing on New Year's here. Based on that, yeah, I assume he is doing well. The tweet of him in office working on a new project I mentioned up there has since been deleted (probably got ahead of themselves), but there is a claim he already has some cast members lined up for it. He's said before he plans to work like Manoel de Oliveira did, so I imagine he will be a "boring" DVD-style pick until he dies in his late 90s/early 100s out of nowhere. Although, granted, just as I was about to post this I saw Denis Law died, so clearly 2025 will be a celebpocalypse and Clint is probably dead right now. 1

The other day I did see an article about Sonny Rollins from December that mentioned he's recovering from a fall he had in November 2023 and considered posting it, but I figured since he's in such bad health anyway it was too minor and people would just be annoyed he wasn't just dead. Given the Grim Reaper has clearly come out of his coma, though, it might be fun to start posting like this. "Len Deighton website hasn't updated its copyright notice since 2021. An ominous sign?" 1
