Wikipedia's description of his cancer fight is wild, it had spread everywhere, he was in a coma because it was in his brain, but has since fully recovered. Apparently thanks to electro-therapy?? He was 66. Blake's career was derailed by multiple drug convictions in 1988. He wrestled two matches in the WWE in 1990, on consecutive days, winning them both. https://www.sescoops.com/news/al-blake-vladimir-petrov-passes-away/ If we're doing off-radar deaths, discovered recently that the early 90s WCW enhancement wrestler Death Row (real name Wendell Rozier) died aged 63 in 2022. Most (solely?) notable for the time he decided to stop selling for Mike Rotunda mid-match. Mike didn't take kindly to this.

There are now only six WWE HOF wrestlers who were inducted in 2004, and at least half of them have health issues. Don Muraco, (still doing public appearances as of 2021) Greg "the Hammer" Valentine, (was apparently "violently ill" in 2018) Jesse Ventura, (steroid user, suffered blood clots in his lungs in 2002) Robert Rudolph Remus, A.K.A. Sgt. Slaughter (hospitalized with bleeding ulcer in 2014) Tito Santana (was doing interviews last year) In addition, there's also Pete Rose, a baseball player who was inducted into the celebrity wing in the HOF, (according to 2018 court documents, he has a heart condition and needs blood thinners, also disabled) With Pete Rose dead, who’s the next 2004 inductee to snuff it? Don Muraco is suspiciously silent, I think his health is already on the decline. Same goes for Sgt. Slaughter, his family has been publicly speaking to the press about his legacy, but they never mention why he became a recluse. The other 3 (Santana, Ventura, and the Hammer) are generally in good hands, at least in my eyes. They don't seem to have any imminent illnesses, but I'd keep an eye out.

He has endorsed Harris and just can't support Trump in any way.

He and Trump have detested each other for decades. Ventura is a believer in unions, universal health care and wealth redistribution towards the poor, and personally dislikes anti-vaxxers (even though he is usually pro-conspiracy theories!) and chicken hawks. He is also a good friend of Tim Walz. I watched a recent interview with him. His mind is sharp but he's looking a lot frailer than he used to, and his lung problems have been getting worse. There's a strong chance this is his last Presidential election to vote in.
