Yeah, I first saw Landau I's name on an HBO Springsteen concert film he produced and got an Emmy nom for, and given this wasn't too long after Landau II won the Best Picture Oscar for producing Titanic, I definitely went years thinking it was the same guy.

Adam Somner, assistant director and producer for filmmakers including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson, Alejandro Inarritu and Ridley Scott, died Wednesday of thyroid cancer in Studio City. He was 57.

Paul Maslansky, producer of Police Academy and its various sequels, as well as other films beginning with Christopher Lee's Castle of The Living Dead in 1964, reportedly dead aged 91 as of 2nd December.
