Is Mr T Dead?

Recommended Posts

Guest Sai

I think Mr. T(Laurence Tureaud) is someone to look up to. And not just for his accomplishments in the TV world.

Mr.T is a god!!!

Which religion might that be then?

The worshippers of crappy 80's TV shows.

If he can resurrect his career - that would be proof he's a god to me.

I think the main reason why Mr T is so fascinating is because he was so big in the 80s and has now almost totally dropped out of sight.

That is the first interesting thing anyone has posted today.

I had often wondered who Heimlich was.

Mr.T is Hulk Hogan's buddy, that's godlike enough for me.

Was he live on Radio 1? Maybe it was a recording.

It was radio, the audience didn't actually see him.

The only way to know for sure is if he mentioned something that only a person alive today would know - e.g. some unique item from the news.

Mr T

What a hero! I think I read something about him recently turning down a slot

on "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here", obviously a man with more refined tastes.

I remember him been interviewed once on TV by that awful fat Australian with a smug look on his face (whose name escapes me at the moment, Clive Someone)

anyway....when asked why he wore so much gold he replied that it was one of the three gifts given to the baby Jesus and if it was good enough for Jesus, it was good enough for him. Class.

Were they interviewing him about his mother, whose 80th birthday was yesterday?

He's Alive.

And in another story I've read (which inevitably I've lost the URL of) - post Katrina he refuses to wear his trademark jewellery.

Perhaps this is the start of a bling to ploughshares trend?

Congratulations, Dr Strangelove.

Hein
