Guest Sai Posted August 14, 2005 I think Mr. T(Laurence Tureaud) is someone to look up to. And not just for his accomplishments in the TV world.

Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted August 15, 2005 Treat your mother right. Not exactly an update on Mr.'s health, but worth watching all the way through.
Lewd_Squirrel 331 Posted August 15, 2005 Mr.T is a god!!!
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted August 16, 2005 Mr.T is a god!!! Which religion might that be then? The worshippers of crappy 80's TV shows. If he can resurrect his career - that would be proof he's a god to me. I think the main reason why Mr T is so fascinating is because he was so big in the 80s and has now almost totally dropped out of sight.
Guest IYG Posted August 16, 2005 No, Mr. T isn't god, Bob Saget is. Bob Saget is God
Guest Ain't going in no airplane, Posted August 16, 2005 Despite all the problems, it would appear he's still the man to go to if you've got a problem, and no-one else can help. PS, while I'm here, a drive-by tip: surely Death has a score or 2 to settle with this chap.
Tuber Mirum 125 Posted August 16, 2005 That is the first interesting thing anyone has posted today. I had often wondered who Heimlich was.

maryportfuncity 10,630 Posted October 14, 2005 It was radio, the audience didn't actually see him.
Lady Die 63 Posted October 14, 2005 It was radio, the audience didn't actually see him. The only way to know for sure is if he mentioned something that only a person alive today would know - e.g. some unique item from the news.
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted October 14, 2005 Mr T What a hero! I think I read something about him recently turning down a slot on "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here", obviously a man with more refined tastes. I remember him been interviewed once on TV by that awful fat Australian with a smug look on his face (whose name escapes me at the moment, Clive Someone) anyway....when asked why he wore so much gold he replied that it was one of the three gifts given to the baby Jesus and if it was good enough for Jesus, it was good enough for him. Class.

Dr Strangelove 14 Posted October 28, 2005 He's Alive. And in another story I've read (which inevitably I've lost the URL of) - post Katrina he refuses to wear his trademark jewellery. Perhaps this is the start of a bling to ploughshares trend?
