Guest Droosy Posted April 5, 2016 David´s father was in the papers. Two hours later the English press immediately announced that he was innocent. What a piece of journalism!
YoungWillz 21,076 Posted April 5, 2016 "Hilarious" comments from Dominic Grieve as shutting down tax havens would destroy the economies of those territories. But it's ok to let the mining communities' economy to be destroyed. Or those dependent on the steel industry. Etc, etc etc., twas always thus, welcome back to 1981. Let these tax havens find something else to do - that's what they'd expect from any other sector.

charon 4,943 Posted April 5, 2016 I haven't paid any tax this financial year. Why do they need to go offshore? As a side point, it was Panama that was the downfall of Scotland, as the greedy bankers fucked up back in the day , and that forced the Union. You never know, it might be the reverse this time.

Cash in hand on hundreds of millions is a bit more difficult to arrange than a few quid for going trawling I'd imagine.
