But are you against them representing GB?

No, the nationality they identify as is their prerogative. It doesn't change their nationality. If I move to Wales and start claiming I'm Welsh I'd be treat as a loon. Same principle for professional athletes.

Giving that Britain funded the majority of their sporting careers it seems only fair they should compete for GB, doesn't make them British. They could probably lay claim to being a British Somalian or British Kenyan in Farah and Froome's case, Tewelde is an Eritrean refuge who lives in Britain - full stop.

Still not clear on what your point is. Mo Farah is a Great Britain team hero but he's not a Great Briton?

A footballer playing for a football club does not make them a person from that club's area. Gareth Bale's not Spanish, Ronaldo's not a Mancunian and Michael Owen's not a Liverpudlian. I'm applying the same criteria to athletes.

Why?

Basically Mo Farah is a Somalian. He's still a Great Britain hero. Transferring clubs doesn't change your nationality but it doesn't mean the achievements should be attributed to your nationality rather than your team. It's all semantics anyway because it doesn't matter where someone is born (unless they want a visa)

And whilst I'm on that subject, the arseletics is no better. The 100m and 200m is more often than not the same person. And of the 5 fastest (men) times in history, 4 have been by people caught doping, and the other was Usain Bolt. Who is either A: a freak or B: just hasn't been caught yet.

Usain Bolt is opening a restaurant chain and plans on 15 locations by 2022.
I'm guessing it's fast food.
