I see in this morning's papers that Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers has pulled out of a tour due to a sudden illness. He said that he was still getting a buzz out of appearing on stage, but he had triple by-pass surgery in 2007. A possibility for next year then. My only fear would be that song "You'll never walk alone" will get to No 1 if Gerry pops it.

Just got back from the gym. They've got a new machine in. Only used it for half an hour, as I started to feel sick. It's great, though. It does everything...KitKats. Mars Bars, Snickers, Potato crisps, the lot...........
