Cheating In Mellow Pastttttttimes

Recommended Posts

Robotics engineers at the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory in Japan have created a janken robot that wins every time (if you didn’t know, janken is the Japanese name for rock-paper-scissors). How can it win every time? Easy. It cheats.
The robot uses a scanning technique to capture an entire field of view and determines what play the human is making. Again, a winning counter play is instantly produced by the robotic hand.

And, obviously, the feud between the man who put competitive eating on the map - Takeru Kobayashi - and Major League Eating even has its own documentary. Contract tampering, racism, American exceptionalism and guerrilla eating contests all feature.

It does beg the question... has there been cheating in deadpooling?

I doped extensively for all three of my DDP victories.   Hope that helps.

The year I finished third to Devon Armstrong... I basically nicked most of his suggestions in a last-minute trawl through the forum. Then I popped them into a Jiffy bag and gave it to the soigneur  :referee:

Mere gamesmanship, m'lud. :angel4:
