German CSU-politician Oscar Schneider has died on 29th of December at the age of 97. From 1982 to 1989 he was the Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Building during the Helmut Kohl government. But it is more important to mention that he was on our D-A-CH list of 2022.

Rainer Calmund, the former managing director of Bayer Leverkusen, suffered a collapse a few weeks ago, which turned out to be "cardiac arrhythmia with atrial fibrillation". He seems to be okay for now, but might also be a candidate for the next few years.

 

For international context: Mr. Calmund was the German number one example of a morbidly obese celebrity for a long time,  though he has lost a lot of weight following a stomach reduction a few years ago.

Does anybody know whether the actress Ute Margarete Alice Sielisch is still alive? I cannot find any information about her death and the major sites (including filmportal) list her as being still alive.

Never heard of her which is no wonder because she quit filming after 1953!

 

But I have a similar question about Felicitas Princess zu Salm-Horstmar, born in 1920. If she is still alive she could celebrate her 105th birthday in March.

Some sources quote her as having died in 9/1956, but that seems to be the date of her divorce.

There is one article mentioning her attending the wedding of her grandson in 2015, so 10 years ago.
