As promised, here is the 20/20+3 Residual, which I thank Bibliogryphon for letting me organise for a second year. In this subgame, you are looking for who will survive the longest of all of the surviving 1923-designated picks throughout the game (sans the now-deceased Glynis Johns), here is a list of those picks: Can I still join this game? If so I choose David H. Murdock, I have a good feeling that he will be a future supercentenarian.

Unfortunately, the game closed for entries when the first person on the list died, in this case Jack Burke on 19th January, but it's probably going to swing around again in the first week or so of next year, so feel free to join in then.
ThereWillBeDeaths7 746 Posted November 18 You're more than welcome to join next years residual game, @Bobytomi! Meanwhile in this years game, we've just had two hits in short succession, after a 7-month dry spell. The deaths of Yuriko and Olav Thon mean sad news for @tracy and @Azrael, but not for the remaining nine players in the game! 9/13 in play Viginia Halas McCaskey (ladyfiona) Gloria Whelan (Bibliogryphon) Rudolph Marcus (Steve) Ida Vitale (MariNisia) Yvonne Choquet-Bruhat (Yvonne) Vincent Ball (Grimgrass) Socorro Ramos (diego) Julie Mandel (ThereWillBeDeaths7) Tom Hughes (Summer in Transylvania) --- 10. Olav Thon (tracy) / 16 November 2024 11. Yuriko, Princess Mikasa (Azrael) / 15 November 2024 12. Márta Peterdy-Wolf (Hell) / 16 April 2024 13. Judith Hemmendinger (WEP) / 24 March 2024

My advice is start making a spreadsheet of those born between 1925-1934. That way you can start posting in the new thread from 1st January 2025 (be quick because people...aka me post from 00.01) Spoiler

livingbygrace 356 Posted November 19 One of the reasons I have not participated in this pool is because I seem not to know where to find picks for certain years.. I do not know how you all find your picks. I cannot find enough people to make a decent list to cover 1925-1927. and 1928 and 1929 are skimpy on one gender. From other players having to have a pick to if someone steals my pick I would be lost

You should play in a bunch of pools, you're a good player. The end of the year is approaching. It occurs to me that this might be a good opportunity to introduce yourself to several pools. You're a player with great potential, @Azrael.
Bobytomi 124 Posted November 19 I use the genarians site to see which notable nonagenarians and centenarians are still alive, although several nonagenarians are missing, for example Sandy Gall does not appear in the 1927 section and Pete Murray in the 1925 section. https://www.genarians.com/

If they are dead already the first thing you see in preview is "was". If they are alive you will see "is". Example of a cropped screenshot: Was Is You then decide whether they will get a QO.

Thanks @MariNisia - that’s a great compliment from such an accomplished player as yourself. I’m trying to get acquainted with the different pools and different rules, but will try to branch out a bit more and try some others next year
