Guest Daffodil31LE Posted February 2, 2005 No news on whether its asian bird 'flu yet ... Dunno if last weekend's pigeons were from Asia. But they sure as hell were birds who didn't want to leave his bedroom... Maybe the pigeons were vultures in disguise... Maybe they were angels of wrath, we will never know. And neither will our dear beloved Gollum.... eh... I mean Holy Feath.. Father... May he rust in pieces!
Guest John Posted February 2, 2005 I quite like this site.... good satire, but this is the kind of celebrity people should try to avoid directly making a fool of.... To alot of people the Pope is not only a 'celebrity' but symbolises their religion, and for alot of people the guidance for their lives. Thank you. God Bless The Pope (sorry guys)

Guest Guest Posted February 2, 2005 No news on whether its asian bird 'flu yet ... What does an Asian bird look like? He really looks 1) hungry, wants to eat the bird 2) scared, wants to get the bird out of his line of sight 3) horny, wants to do something to the bird Now, what's the correct answer...? And @ John: A wise man once said: Every living (or dead) human has the right to be made a fool of. The one who doesn't do so is therefor discriminating. Guest ilechoo.com Posted February 2, 2005 Boom! "The Vatican says the 84-year-old Pontiff was taken to Gemelli Polyclinic to have his infection examined further. A spokesman insisted the Pope has not been placed in the intensive care unit." http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=100...=top_world_news They're sayin' it's nothing major, but who knows. Guest fybir optik Posted February 2, 2005 Tick Tock..Tick Tock..Tick Tock..Tick Tock. It's just a matter of time. I still think he has been dead for years. The Cardinals are all over him in public appearances, Maybe they are sick of pulling the strings to move his arms and legs. Guest iain189 Posted February 2, 2005 the vaticans apparent optimism regarding the Popes condition reminds me of the palestinian leaderships false optimism during Yasser Arafats final days.I suspect theyre downplayign the seriousnes sof the Popes condition while they figure out the succession etc
Teddy 21 Posted February 2, 2005 the vaticans apparent optimism regarding the Popes condition reminds me of the palestinian leaderships false optimism during Yasser Arafats final days.I suspect theyre downplayign the seriousnes sof the Popes condition while they figure out the succession etc I don't think they have the same succession issues that the PLO recently experienced. After all, the next one will be the 264th Pope (not counting the anti-Popes), so they have some procedures for this. Given that the next Pope is elected by the Cardinals, I would have expected that 'papabile' have already been quietly working behind the scenes. Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted February 2, 2005 The Pope's death is officially determined by the Cardinal Chamberlain by gently tapping the late Pope's head thrice with a golden hammer and calling his name. Blimey, there's opportunity there for an unscrupulous Cardinal with a large hammer and a big old wodge on at William Hill.

football_fan 42 Posted February 2, 2005 According to the medical experts, he is suffering from an acute respiratory infection that could be deadly if it develops into pneumonia. Considering the fact that he has been in such a frail condition for a number of years, it is a miracle that he has lasted this long.
