Magere Hein 1,400 Posted August 8, 2005 Necropheliacs (excuse the spelling there) Are they the ones whose blood doesn't clot properly? Strange that no pedant has jumped to that yet. The answer, BTW, is no. They're called haemmoroids. regards, Hein

The Yeti 14 Posted August 14, 2005 Like the way it says a complication is Sudden Death ... Oh, and who edited your post M.Hein ? Anyway, what did anyone think of John McCririck's little talk at the funeral. Although it was possibly not the best place to raise the point, I do think he was right when he said it was a slight that Tony Blair didn't turn up for the funeral of his own ex-foreign minister. Tuber Mirum 126 Posted August 14, 2005 Anyway, what did anyone think of John Mccruik's little talk at the funeral.Although it was possibly not the best place to raise the point, I do think he was right when he said it was a slight that Tony Blair didn't turn up for the funeral of his own ex-foreign minister. I think it was entirely appropriate to mention it, the applause from the people listening outside St Giles' demonstrated that, but McCrirrick would have helped his own credibility and made his point more strongly if he had left it at that, and not gone on to complain about other political matters. He was obviously quite emotional and fairly nervous as well.

He's only a common tater ( small joke for Notapotato there) and should concentrate on that.

VileBody 11 Posted August 18, 2005 What else did the twat McCririck go on about then? I happen to agree wholeheartedly tho that Blair is a scumbag over this as in so many things - of course you wouldn't want to intrude on a "private" funeral...attended by 700 mourners and held in a bloody Cathedral. Spineless lying wan*er

Brinsworth House Baiter 12 Posted April 28, 2006 Horse-riding lane named in honour of Robin Cook How very nice! This could start a trend, naming areas frequented by famous people. A car park named after Stan Collymore and badger infested heathland named after Ron Davies, just off the top of my head. A public lavatory named after George Michael. Erm... I'm done. jmh8300 2 Posted April 29, 2006 Don't forget Ron Brown, at one time my MP. (In)famous for throwing the Mace of the floor of the House of Commons, being good friends with Gaddafi, and thinking the Russians were in Afghanistan on a 'civilising mission'. Since being dumped by the Labour party, he joined the Scottish Socialist Party, and still seems to be onvolved in politics (just not as an elected member!). He was seriously ill back in Feb, but appears to have recovered. I saw Ron out and about last week, as usual walking his greyhound in the Goldenacre area of Edinburgh. He seems fit enough for someone in his 50s (?) - appearing to have more energy than his forlorn and hunched dog.
