Just found out the connection to the Queen (in case anyone cares) - his mother Anne Bowes-Lyon was a niece of the Queen Mother.

I happened to glance at a well-known celebrity mag where they had photos of Lichfield's memorial service. Lord Snowdon was there & didn't look at all well. Maybe a possibility for 2007?

I'm surprised the BBC didn't do any photos at the memorial service. Snowdon hasn't looked too healthy the past 3-4 years. He's only in his mid-70's but I guess he often abused the drink along with Margaret

And it gives me the opportunity to insert a few snide comments about the House of Saxe- Coburg -Gotha

As I am already the happy recipient of 3 warnings would someone else start it ?

Th House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha no longer exists. The House of Windsor rules now.
