honez 79 Posted June 18, 2004 Any news on Jimmy Saville's well-being? A possible contender for the 2005 list perchance? He'd be getting a bit snaggle-toothed by now.
Worthing Paul 3 Posted June 18, 2004 Dear Jim, Please would you fix it for me for you to snuff it sometime in 2005? Thank you, Worthing Paul.
Rude Kid 3 Posted June 18, 2004 Goodness gracious, goodness gracious, guys and gals, Weird Uncle Jimmy is now 77 and lives on his own in Leeds. I'm not aware of him having any particular health problems. Eaeh eh eaeh eh! (Actually, a thought's just struck me...we used to laugh at his tracksuits and bling jewellery in the '70s, but looking at what the yoof of today are wearing, wasn't he just ahead of his time??) Worthing Paul 3 Posted June 18, 2004 Now then, now then, now then. Ahead of his time? Hadn't thought of it like that. Do you remember the cigars? He actually used to smoke them on kid's TV. How things have changed. That said, the cigars can't have done him much good. And you say he lives on his own. They say that can knock a few years of your life... Does anyone know if he has any heavy drinking habits? I reckon he should definitely appear on the 2005 list. WP
Death Watch Beatle 41 Posted June 18, 2004 In a recent 'King of Bling' poll, Jimbo came a creditable 10th. http://www.961therocket.com/script/headlin...rock&feed_id=25 DWB
Rude Kid 3 Posted June 18, 2004 That said, the cigars can't have done him much good. And you say he lives on his own. They say that can knock a few years of your life... True, but then again he has kept himself in good shape over the years with all that running. He definitely ran the London Marathon in 2003, but I can't find any record of him taking part in '04...hmmm...I wonder...
Death Watch Beatle 41 Posted June 18, 2004 Jimmy has made an appearance on the DL before. Way back in 1987 - well, if you're going to be wrong, you may as well be wrong by 17 years (or more?). DWB
Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted June 18, 2004 Personally, I can't wait for the highly-litigious Mr Saville to gain his 'Jim has snuffed it' badge. You can't sue for libel when you're dead and Jimmy has more skeletons in his closet than a cheap ghost train. I want to know that the dirt on him is true.

honez 79 Posted July 12, 2004 I want to know that the dirt on him is true. can you shed some light on what the dirt [allegedly] is? We don get much Jimmy Saville-related news south of the equator. More's the pity by the sound of it.
Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted July 12, 2004 Hmm, wouldn't really want to without first consulting messers Sue, Grabbit and Runne...but... Worshipped his mother 'The Duchess' Worked voluntarily in a morgue. Alone. At night. Stayed with his mother after her death. Alone. At night. I would say more...but.... The Yeti 14 Posted September 20, 2004 Jimmy's on TV as I type, in some really abysmal TV 'quiz' show whose purpose I've yet to fathom (I'm waiting for Film 04). He's looking his age, but hale & hearty otherwise.
