He has the same birthday as me separated by 68 years. I really hope he makes it to 100.

I met an 100 year old woman today who was a patient but she could walk and talk like someone who was 25 years younger than her. Then I meet patients who are 60 who look like they are 90.

Yes same. I met the then oldest man of Britain in 2011 aged 109 but he functioned as a 84 year old. But other care home residents there were only in their 70s but seemed more like centenarians

Fascinating. I'd be interested if you have any stories/information about when you met him!

The top question I have from meeting anyone that age is why have you been able to live that long? He believed it was thanks to a lot of help from upstairs in his own words. :old:

On NBC’s Nightly News tonight, discussing his neighbors rescuing him from wild fires. Maybe a little frailer than previous months but seems to be holding on pretty well.

You do one Coldplay video in your back garden, next thing you know you are being burned out of your home.

A lesson there. The shock could kill him...lol.

My great grandfather lived to be 97. Last Christmas eve, he knew he was going to die the next day and he walked out and said goodbye to all the nurses and other care home residents before going to bed. 10am Christmas Day he died after listening to his favourite music and having the bible read to him.

Its amazing how someone so old can still be mobile until the very end, although DvD is active - he could prove as a good wildcard (although IMO he doesn't deserve no.2 spot). Nobody saw Betty White going so suddenly either.
