I also have the Cardinal on a list but I'm not openly cheering his impending death.

Though my mother recently died of essentially Alzheimer's, it was a previously unknown and incredibly fast growing kidney cancer that helped put her down inside of about 2 weeks from discovery. When she was under 'pain management it was four days. She was 12 years older than the good Cardinal but I'd be shocked he survived beyond two weeks from hospital readmittance, which was last week. I think Easter Sunday a fitting end.

Better than Good Friday: he might cause quite a stir at Easter if he died then.

ETA: I've never quite understood what's so good about that Friday.

I'm looking out for Francis Cardinal George. At #30, he might be my 3rd hit of the year.

Just when I thought he'd be my 3rd hit...

"[H]ydration and pain management issues", is that what they call a hangover now? :duck:

As a former Chicagoan, this is big news.

Thanks for being my 3rd hit, Georgy!

Not to mention how relieved all Deathlisters will be that I can finally stop complaining about not getting my 3rd hit yet.

That is, until the middle of May, when I start complaining about not getting my 4th hit yet.

He's my 3rd hit in April along with Schuller and Sledge. Can Billy Graham be far behind?
