philheybrookbay 439 Posted August 24, 2017 Must be..... Shame we can't have a bottom play off like the champions of Highland/Lowland league to find the worst team. Reading the non league forums Hawick Royal Albert currently bottom in the Lowland League are shockingly bad and unlikely to claim many points this season. Would be the ultimate race to the bottom.....

philheybrookbay 439 Posted August 27, 2017 Cue much nashing of teeth on the Forts Facebook page. Looks like the nature of this defeat has shocked the locals as well.

Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted September 6, 2017 Ahhh shit GAME OFF ... INJURY-HIT SQUAD Due to a high number of player injuries, the Club are not in a position to field a Team for tonight's North of Scotland FA Challenge Cup game against Forres Mechanics - this unfortunately means that we have to forfeit the game. Attempts have been made to draft in replacements to allow the game to go ahead but without success. Cup rules dictate that a player cannot take part in the tie without being Registered so this prevents us from using Trialists on this occasion. Apologies to all our Supporters. Good luck to our opponents, Forres Mechanics, for the remainder of the Competition.

philheybrookbay 439 Posted September 6, 2017 Same here. Boyfriend was most confused when I asked for them. But it kills 30mins every Sunday morning. And avoids the 'we're in bed let's have woopie' situation. Works even better when there's midweek games. The 'I've a headache' excuse was wearing thin. Still that's long term relationships for you... Just wish the Fort would win. Those extra seconds moving that tab would be most welcome

Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted September 8, 2017 Tell ya what, if DL Con goes down a treat next year perhaps we ought to give due consideration to making the 2019 meet at Fort Williams ground for a pie and a pint. I'm sure our support would help it achieve its largest attendance since somebody accidentally stated that the club house would be serving free whisky to all back in 1954, or summat. charon 4,943 Posted September 8, 2017 Plus, isn't the wettest place in the Isles? Which given your love of that mythical yellow thing in the sky that I hear tales of, make the Fort an unlikely destination for you.....
