Predictor 1,018 Posted June 22, 2014 Shouldn't the text in DDP be changed by now?
Predictor 1,018 Posted June 13, 2015 Hey, I have a question to The Man In Black: In the DDP website, you state that John Stephenson "unfortunately died in 2012, so no points will be awarded...". But this hasn't been confirmed and is thus just a rumour so far. You can read more on his Wikipedia talk page: http://en.wikipedia....ephenson_(actor)He is still incorrectly listed as dead on the Derby Dead Pool website.http://www.derbydead...3/celebs_S.html For fucks sake, he died in 2015. http://mynewsla.com/hollywood/2015/05/21/voice-actor-john-winfield-stephenson-dead-at-91/
themaninblack 2,112 Posted June 13, 2015 ...and he still didn't get a UK obit either! Still, I'm going to make some archival changes in the next few months, minimilising all those long lists just to recent years as a lot of the entries have inaccuracies and are a bit irrelevant. I made a start with just a list of the stiffs and the scoreboard for 2003 and will work on that..
Dr. Zorders 1,272 Posted June 14, 2015 You mean you're gonna blitz the old bio pages? Isn't that slightly being the ISIS of the internet, blowing up artefacts?
themaninblack 2,112 Posted June 14, 2015 Good point. My main issue with the pics. They not be much but they add up and the web server has limited capacity. Perhaps a compromise is to keep the bios but get rid of the pics and just have those who snuffed it on the who's dead pages. 2003 would be the template for such an endeavour... Death Impends 8,029 Posted June 14, 2015 FWIW on the topic of pictures, if you still are keeping pictures for those who died I was able to find an image for Henry "Nap" Botterell since I saw he was one of two on the 2003 deaths page to have the question mark next to him (no luck with the other one, Sidney Wiltshire): Source here
Dr_T 254 Posted June 14, 2015 Hi TMIB I am a first time entrant in this competition and I am impressed at just how professionally it is run and wonder about how much time it must consume. Thanks and well done. Cheers Dr T
