There are now claims from the appointed commissioners that the government rewrote much of the recent ‘independent’ report that played down institutional racism in the UK. The report wasn’t made available to the commissioners before Number 10 could cherrypick and twist findings and produce them in a less implicative and politically unsavoury way.

 

If true, which, though utterly scandalous and appalling, wouldn’t be surprising in the slightest, the government have rigged a report about ethnic minorities so they could claim the UK is not rigged against ethnic minorities. It’d also explain why No.10’s race adviser Samuel Kasumu resigned immediately after the report published its ‘findings’.
