All dead (Ashraf Rahi was the last survivor)

That's all who have died since, right?

A few comments/updates on the names that aren't popular pool picks now and/or are very obscure:

2023 names:

Malik Shabazz is the Detroit activist we all know who was in ultra-critical conditions and needed to be put on ECMO, something people don't usually survive. He was discharged from a rehabilitation centre last week after a year in hospital or rehabilitation, but has an LVAD/heart pump due to extreme heart failure.

Geralds Ridsdale is an Australian priest convicted for sexual abuse of tens of children. He's 90, suffers from heart & bowel conditions and other ailments, was "dying" last year, had a health scare in prison this March and was in hospital this month too. But you know, he's in prison, half of it is likely faked.

Vlada Andropova, 25-year-old model who went into coma following a failed nose job. God fucking knows, there hasn't even been local news on her since June, fell back into obscurity.

2022 names:

Ishwar Singh Rajput or Ishwar Singh Chauhan or Ishwar Gaur tried to save Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor who was beheaded. Ishwar was seriously wounded, but was already conscious and recovering in July 2023. He very likely survived, but fell back into obscurity

Pinot Ichwandardi recovered decently from his enormous stroke and is back at doing art.

2021 names:

Sasha Johnson is still alive, but (obviously) suffered permanent injuries as she was shot in the head. I don't think there have been updates since 2022, and the "recent image" that's spreading on twitter of her in a wheelchair is fake. That's her face photoshopped on Stephen Hawking.

Shakti Mishra, Indian Odia singer, was critically ill with MODS as heart surgery complication. He later needed a liver transplant due to cirrhosis, but made a decent recovery. Incredibly lucky.

Soulaimane Raissouni is a Moroccan journalist who was "dying" on hunger strike. He was freed from jail this week and is doing fine.

MakSim (Marina Maximova) is a Russian singer who was gravely ill in artificial coma with covid. Recovered well, but was in rehab for alcoholism last year.

2020 names:

Asel Kadyrbekova - Kyrgyz (?) musician who was in ICU, fully recovered now and active on instagram.

Abdallah Meshref, Egyptian actor. Suffered a massive stroke but recovered well. Retired from acting very recently.

Arthur Neto, former Mayor of Manaus, was hospitalised with covid and in ICU. Alive and still active on social media.

Abdel Rahim Ali or Abdul Rahim Ali is an Egyptian journalist and MP who was in ICU with the early covid, and later fled the country to Dubai where he probably still is.

Alex Zanardi survived his very serious accident, but requires "machines at home".

2019 names:

Doug DeRoo is a local DJ from Bakersfield (and Dave DeRoo's dad) who was in hospice back in 2019 according to facebook posts. Still alive and looks rough.

Gavin Robertson is an Aussie cricketer who has been suffering from brain cancer for five years.

2018 names:

Sean Cox is a liverpool fan who suffered massive injuries in an attack on a stadium. He can stand up again now.

Virgil Hunter, boxing coach, was in deep coma back then but is doing quite well now.

Alejandro Junco de la Vega. Mexican journalist, I can't find any info on if he was ill or not, but he seems to be doing fine.
