gcreptile 11,037 Posted January 2, 2019 I sent a list - though I really wouldn't mind a tie! I suspect lots of similar names, too!
Sir Creep 7,071 Posted January 2, 2019 Best of luck to our two leaders. But yeah, make a hard and fast rule for future.
Wormfarmer 429 Posted January 5, 2019 GCReptile's Tiebreaker 10 1. Andrew McGahan 2. Edmund Capon 3. Gerard Basset 4. Susan Bayh 5. Michael Murphy 6. Fernando Ricksen 7. Shivakamura Swamiji 8. Shirley Boone 9. Olivia Newton-John 10. Bobby Joe Maxwell Cap'n Chorizo's Tiebreaker 10 1Shivakumara Swamiji 2Andrew McGahan 3Gerard Basset 4Johnny Clegg 5Fernando Ricksen 6Noel Conway 7Herman Wouk 8Susan Bayh 9Kerri Parker 10Julie Allen This is a sudden death match - first to get a hit wins. There are 5 names in common to the lists, so in the event one of those names is the next to go, the person who has them ranked highest (earliest) on their list will win. That gives GCrep the win with McGahan and Bayh, and Capn Cho the win with Swamiji and Ricksen. If Gerard Basset is the next to go, it will still be a tie, so I will set up the Octogon in my front yard and the two of you will have to pick a weapon (wet noodle or herring) and battle to the death. Tickets for this match will be $50 each. I will post a new thread with rules for the 2019 pool and a call for entries hopefully by the 7th.

Not sure about the time difference from Norway / USA.

A search of the net (with my pathetic skills) gives me nothing on Noel Conway's rumored passing, so I award the trophy for the first ever 5-4-3-2-1 DP to GCreptile, who had confirmed hit Shirley Boone on his list! Damn, I was starting to look forward to the Octogon duel after all this. Congrats to you, sir, it was a well fought and hard earned title, fending off that last minute challenge by eventual second place finisher, Cap'n Chorizo. You do the hobby proud, the both of you.
Death Impends 8,029 Posted January 13, 2019 I already preordered Octogon tickets too, that's $50 down the drain In all seriousness, congrats to Reptile!
