Agreed I personally don't give a fiddlers if I receive a few extra penis enlargement emails or yet more offers of millions of dollars tied up in a Nigerian bank account. I take it the 'Angry from (insert town)' will be withdrawing from DDP?. ah well...bye

I too have no real anger. Yes, it's a nuisance, and I can understand others being rightfully peeved, but ultimately the only thing leaked were email addresses. Like Bazaar said it's not like an email alone can be abused by other people when they don't know any other data relating to it. Spam is really the worst that can happen, but spam is little more than a nuisance. If the emails were revealed intentionally, then yes I'd be truly peeved, but you didn't intend for it and as we all make mistakes there's no point in being angry when you can simply remember to check for BCC next time. You've overall done a stellar job running the DDP and I don't think that should be forgotten.

I could be being incredibly naive here, but can someone really access your Paypal or bank account if all they have is your email address? Surely they also need at the very least your email password? And then the answers to your bank security questions? Or am I being properly daft? Genuine question, because if that's the case I need to re-think joining all those free porn websites......
