Now that's a coincidence... Earlier this evening Dutch PM Rutte had a conversation about the MH17 crash with President Putin at the ASEM summit in Milan. According to Dutch media Rutte wrote a statement on his facebook () page, which translates to: I'm not impressed. regards, Hein

No, I followed the trial quite closely and there is a heavy stench of corruption. It was rumoured early on that money and power would decide the outcome. Take a look at this, it was revealing.

While we're on the subject, it's worth hearing what the disabled folk of South Africa really think of Oscar Pisspoorstorius. This deserves wide circulation. It's by Ari Seirlis, who is the CEO of the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA). Stand up and show us the man that you said you were.

Hmm. I think that those Curse of foo rumours are a bit of a fraud. After all, if you wait long enough all people (or tortoises, for that matter) on any list will die. Now if those people would die within a year or so after publication and all in the same way, you'd be on to something, but this all sounds rather thin. regards, Hein

I have just drafted brief biogs for my 2015 DDP picks who were not picked this year. Expect eight deaths to blow my work out of the water.

Ehh........ he only used an X-ray so it's not like he was employing cutting-edge stuff just for this purpose. Also, people have been going to lengths to either protect of verify valuables for yonks. You're just picking on this guy because it's Star Wars. Which is fine by me, carry on. I do have to be careful here glasshouses and all that. Some people might suggest that someone who owns over 300 Doctor Who books shouldn't criticise collectors of Star Wars figures. Some people might suggest you didn't have to tell us that. *backs away slowly while muttering "God I hope they're just paperbacks"* Yeah they are paperbacks and have been read not hermetically sealed in plastic bags. Hypocrisy is still hypocrisy even if no-one knows it. Hahaha good......., thought so. Had no fucking idea they've made that many books though...... There's way worse stuff than Dr. Who fandom IMO anyway, even as much as I don't like the show. And I get a "likes the old version more than the new" vibe from you so you get a pass or summat. I used to enjoy watching the old show a bit but I dislike the new one so much it's soured it for me. I have plenty of dorky stuff too of course but I keep it in the wrestling thread mostly. Everyone is an anorak of some kind these days FFS.

In a word - no. This explanation of the human equivalent may help. There's even a little video to demonstrate. Aaw, cheers for answering. And not laughing at me (in the post, at least) I was just at what you must have thought people put on their cornflakes.

At least, Chemberlain was in a position to go to war against Germany if he wanted to, although he knew well that it wouldn't be easy or advantageous to Britain, so he had good reasons to try to avoid the inevitable. As I understand it, Chamberlain did what he could, or more precisely: he didn't do what he couldn't. The shameful part of the Munich agreement was that he entered into a treatise that sanctioned the German occupation of territory belonging to a third nation. That the agreement would prove to be worth less than the paper it was written on he might have guessed, but couldn't know. That's my understanding of it. The Dutch government (and parliament) are currently awaiting the results of investigation of the exact cause of the MH17 crash. It's difficult to predict what the government will do should it become apparent that Russia did indeed play a part in it. Obviously the government doesn't look kindly on killing 196 Dutch citizens, but I expect they'll try to find redress through legal means. The Netherlands do have considerable trade with Russia. Considering the relative sizes of their economies, sanctions will probably hurt the Dutch more than the Russians. regards, Hein

They were probably both doing their annual phone rounds to get inside information for their DDP teams.

It's just like the Schumacher thing now. We'll find out if she's a vegetable if/when she wakes up. And presumably if she does it'll be a lot faster than Schumi. Which he won't like! I have a strong feeling she's a goner though. All this talk about whether she was deprived of oxygen or not strongly suggests she was. i.e........ that clinic didn't have any kind of emergency oxygen on hand or any resuscitation equipment. So, in this post we have.... Meat and two veg I'll get me coat!
