And just realised you're Swedish so might be taking specialist subject to mean a subject on which one has an intricate/above average knowledge in the literal sense, it has a common parlance meaning of a subject that an individual will talk about at length because they have an interest in it, that interest doesn't necessarily need to be of a higher level than anyone else at the table - they just need to be louder/more vocal about the interest.

Ok, I understand what you mean now. My Swedishness can make it hard to follow certain discussions on here. For example, I often find myself struggle with deciphering Charon's use of language. No offence to him, but his Scotish 'dialect' confuses me a lot, hahah. Going back to Corrie, have you actually seen any of the many old seasons? I imagine it could take decades to catch up, if ever.
