John Demjanjuk is getting deported to the Ukraine or, if that fails, Poland/Germany. I hear that they're aren't so fond of Nazis in Europe...

Recent report on CNN that Dr. Jack Kevorkian (Good ol' Dr. Death himself) is "gravely ill", suffering from high blood pressure, osteoperosis, and Hepatitis C. He's "gravely ill", but we've heard that before about the likes of one Ronnie Biggs. Kevorkian was denied parole and should he ever obtain parole, he'd likely commit suicide shortly after getting out of the big house.

Happy 78th Birthday to this grand stalwart of British TV and radio, who was apparently ill last year. Possible outside bet for 2006?

You beady eyed people might have seen the news today that Enrique Iglesias' granddad and Julio Iglesias' dad is to become a father again at the age of 90. Unfortunately a search on google didnt produce a dob for this ole fogey. Anybody any idea?

hello...newly registered to the forum...used to occasionally post as 'Guest Yank' but I'm all in now! Anyway - legendary Hawaiin crooner Don Ho has apparently got heart issues to the point where he just went to Thailand to get an experimental stem cell procedure not legal in the U.S.A....food for thought for the '06 list. The master of the Latin American beat is 95 today. Remember Edmundo Ros and His Rhumba Band? Ok, Perhaps not. He was a favourite of the immediate post-war generation and very close to the British Royal Family so he will get his prominent obits. Here is his pedigree: http://www.spaceagepop.com/ros.htm I would like to recommend him to the Death List Committee for consideration for next year's list. (Along with Hitchcock actress Norah Baring, 99 and Will Hay director Val Guest, 94). My other two actress nominations from last year (Kay Walsh and Constance Cummings) have popped off this year and I think this trio will give us a similarly good chance of success regardless of their present state of health.

It's proving difficult to find out anything about Mary (Lady) Wilson, who was married to Prime Minister Harold Wilson until his death in 1995. Searches throw up lots of references to the one-time Supremes singer of the same name, but nothing about this one. I assume she's still alive, because she was apparently interviewed in the Cherie Blair/Booth progtramme that was on Channel 4 recently. But Harold's Wiki entry doesn't even mention her. My guess is that she lives in the Scilly Islands, where he was buried. Anyone know?

Tookie Williams is due to be executed on the 13th of December. A founder member of the Crips street gang who has since renounced violence and been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 5 times now relies on good ol' boy Arnie Schwarzenegger to grant him a reprieve, but would he still be decent DL material if a stay of execution were to be granted?

Award-Winning Playwright Wendy Wasserstein Reportedly Gravely Ill. http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=522061 She doesn't strike me as overly famous, but did win the Pulitzer Prize, amongst a whole string of other gongs, in 1989. Would be worth a consideration perhaps? DWB

What are the chances that this wicked witch will bite it? I just hope she dies before plastic surgery is so advanced that she becomes immortal.

I caught sight of Dennis Waterman talking about the Sweaney the other night, he could well be reunited with the guvner Jack Reagan in 2006. He was gulping in large amounts of breath between sentences. and his top lip was stretched tight over some extremely large teeth. He could quite well shake a six in the new year

According to news reports Al-Zarqawi may be dead. This is probably just a combination of media speculation and wishful thinking on the US forces part. Even if he hasn't yet been killed, surely he can't evade death for much longer. After all he is operating in Iraq unlike Bin Laden who is most likely hiding out in Pakistan's North Western frontier. Being in the midst of the insurgency, his luck must run out soon.
