How long is a cricket pitch? 22 yards? Hey, it was 22 years that Alan Igglesden had a brain tumour before he returned to the pavilion in the sky (if you believe in that sort of thing...). Coincidence? Yes, of course it is. Cricket's a slow game, but 22 years?

 

Igglesden's passing caught out a few of us, but not gcreptile, msc, Death Impends and Grim Up North who all score.

Cpt Chorizo has some nice bonus opportunities, for example, if one of his 10s dies, he gets three straights at once, or now in fact maybe more with those three queens?. Unless I hit one of these full houses, he has a good chance of winning on bonusses. But yeah, if I get one full house, it's like 500 bonus points.

 

Edit: Larry Pressler, who I think will more likely than not still become a hit, will be "fun" to calculate.

This is your final reminder that, if you have played a Joker (or play one in the next week), you have until 23:59:59 GMT on 30 November 2021 to convert it to another card to gain pointage if you have not already converted it. A reminder again that the card you convert your Joker to must be a card not already allocated to you as part of your 25 person team, and must be red if a Red Joker, or black if a Black Joker.

 

The helpdesk is available via PM to discuss your options if you are unsure what will gain you best points or tactically what might be best to go for, but the final decision will always remain with the player - who will be totally responsible if it all goes tits up.

 

Of course, there is no obligation to convert a Joker, but why in the hell wouldn't you?
