Sir Creep 7,070 Posted July 29 I’m pretty much resigned to drinking Glenmorangie these days, which I refer to as ‘the Budweiser of Scot whisky’. It’s difficult to afford anything, what with Michigan adding three separate 4% taxes, and then adds a 65% profit onto that! I can get a bottle of said Glenmorangie in Louisiana for about $35 US, in Michigan it’s around $45. SirC
Clorox Bleachman 2,400 Posted October 26 M&S sloe gin. I'd say it's comparable to the Rīga Black Balsam I brought back from Latvia last year. Clears your sinuses. Today's my gran's 2nd death anniversary, so we had a toast to her, then a few more toasts. My da tried to lift my maw while "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals was playing, and they both ended up on the kitchen floor, but fortunately no broken hips this time. 1
Clorox Bleachman 2,400 Posted November 7 This stuff, 12% Icelandic Stout apparently. I didn't have to pay because I met a Scouser whose best friend won a million pounds in the lottery. I've had two (plus a Baileys shot) and I'm fucking steaminggggg. My Scouser pal has met a girlfriend in the time we've been drinking it.
Toast 16,112 Posted Thursday at 00:04 Not been doing cocktails so much lately, but finally got hold of a bottle of Calvados which allowed me to try this. Honeymoon Calvados, Benedictine, lemon juice, Orange Curacao Gorgeous sweet-sour citrussy treat. I didn't have a lemon so subbed in lime juice, and Triple Sec for the curacao. Added a couple of drops of orange bitters.
