BrunoBrimley 86 Posted April 7, 2005 I think that Elton John die on Christmas! Poor Reggie. You know he was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas day. I guess this may be the end of his yellowbrick road. By the by--have you selected a year which you'd like to market to us for this passing?

Gunjaman5000 30 Posted July 10, 2005 Who will sing a tribute song when he passes on? And it seems to me, you lived your life Like the tonic in the gin. Tinkling nicely with the ice cubes And the lemon in. I would have liked to have known you In these troubled modern times. You made a bloody fortune, Singing someone else's rhymes. Can't be any worse than some of he and Bernie's efforts surely?
Cerberus 302 Posted July 10, 2005 Who will sing a tribute song when he passes on? It's going to be sung by a trio: George Michael, Will Young and that Welsh bloke in the hot pants from Little Britain.
Guest Frank Posted July 12, 2005 Elton John is an unpatrioctic queer. He come to Philladelphia and sais nothing about the 4th of July instead his free concert he put on turned out to not be a 4th of July concert but a flipping Aids Benefit. I hope he dies soon. I'm sick of his disease and all the other pressing queers like him.

I'm sick of his disease and all the other pressing queers like him. thanks for that helpful contribution Frank. I'm sure we can all share the sense of outrage of someone from England not turning his own pop concert into a 4th of July celebration. I mean, it would be perfectly reasonable to ask George Bush to fly to Hanoi to set off the fireworks to mark the opening of Tet holiday every year, wouldn't it. And I don't believe we were aware Elton John had contracted AIDS, HIV or any related illnesses. The amazing stuff you can learn by spending enough time on the web. No, that's what we have Jane Fonda for. However you are right about the absurdity of outrage over Reggie not singing The Star Spangled Banner or promoting the beauties of America. What next? Outrage if Sean Connery fails to extoll the joys of Bastille Day (coming up this Thursday so get the Napoleans and champagne ready!). How about if... oh never mind it's just not worth it. VSBfromH 74 Posted August 1, 2007 Get your posts in quick guys, Elton's gonna have us all shut down!: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007350453,00.html "I do think it would be an incredible experiment to shut down the whole internet for five years and see what sort of art is produced over that span." Yeah, like that's gonna happen, Reg! Will we see: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage cos Elton John's had it shut down "I am such a Luddite when it comes to making music. All I can do is write at the piano"

"I am such a Luddite when it comes to making music. All I can do is write at the piano" How much money has Elton John made off sales of singles and albums on the likes of iTunes and Amazon, and concert tickets sold on-line, in the past 5 or so years? Poor misguided tw*t. I was once in a newsagent in South Kensington and the great man was in there, having his minders spend about £80 on various provisions, including, on Elt's instruction, "Triple X mints - the dogs like them". At least I think that's what he said. True story.

It's just a shame my actions can't permenantly erase such classics as Candle in the Sodding Wind and that Disney theme forever.
