Arafat's (Inevitable) Death

Recommended Posts

"He dies again" Frenzy is right. Reuters has just reported that Yasser Arafat is in fact dead. It is very interesting that he is being declared dead just as the Palestinian delegation arrived at the Military hospital to see him. My opinion is that the doctors and his wife have been hiding this fact and spreading misinformation all of this time. Maybe that is why his wife was trying her best to prevent them from seeing him.

Anyone else notice Paris seems to have an inordinantly high number of foreign people die there? Princess Di, Jim Morrison, Picasso, a Concorde-load of German tourists, and looks like Arafat's soon to join them. There must be others.

Maybe it's to offset the zero French soldiers who died there during WWII.

I think Teddy has stumbled across a very good idea of an offshoot of the DL - Take Your Celebrity Death Pick with Des O'Conner! All together, "Open the Box", "Take the Money".

Seems like Arafat is already playing the Yes/No game...........

Did someone mention Des O'Conner! I'm a bit worried that if the sex doesn't kill him the constant whinging from the baby may finish him off.

That's Des not Yasser.. :rip:

Half Dead Again

His irreversable coma has got even more irreversable, it seems.

Schrödinger's Arafat...

You know, in the multiverse scenario, everything is possible ...

To get back to the point of issue...the sooner arafat is dead, the better will be the chance of peace in the middle east...he has been a stumbling block for god knows how many years now...good riddance to him..

I hear the delay in turning off the life support machine has been caused by the Israeli authorities wanting to hook up the switch to the national grid so that the Paris Christmas lights go on as Arafat's go out. Typical irony driven Jewish sense of humour.

Bring it on... :rip:

Quote from our long missing friend Mr Stats...

For his funeral, Yassar Arafat is to be dressed in Paul Gascoigne's 1996 England kit. His last words were "bury me in the gazza strip". :rip:

Given all the flip-flopping and semi-deaths relating to him over the last week, should we not give him 24 hours just to make sure?

The BBC have now announced he has entered the most irreversable state of all ....

Arafat has been confirmed dead. Brain, heart, lungs, and all this time.

Just waiting for the Prime Minister of Luxembourg to confirm it :(
