He hadn't been on the radar as having any health issues. Apparently lived in Ecuador for the last several years and had been in the US about a week ago for a "virtual signing". Shocker. drol 11,789 Posted February 5, 2023 The Mirror covers attention seeker Superstar Billy Graham, who apparently has been resuscitated some time ago and lost 45 pounds during his latest hospital stint. If you add all the pounds he has lost since 2011 you'll likely find his weight must be a negative number right now.

Spade_Cooley 9,469 Posted February 7, 2023 So apparently this happened yesterday but neither the WWE nor the Lawler family put a statement out about it, and it's only made the news now because Ricky Morton tweeted prayers. Makes me think it's pretty serious.

He's now dodged the Grim Reaper three times: this, the cardiac arrest several years ago and back in the 70s, he was supposed to be in the car that subsequently crashed killing his manager at the time Sam Bass: also, had his car not stopped at his hamburger business, he would have been right in the middle of the crash.

arghton 6,637 Posted February 14, 2023 New edition of that December list of oldest professional wrestlers/wrestling personalities as there's been a few deaths since I sent it. Up to 1939: Bill Mercer (1926) Abe Jacobs (1928-2023) Looked frail last year. But he's also absolutely ancient for a professional wrestler. Fritz Von Goering (1928/1929) Alive? I haven't looked into this one. Samson Burke (1929) Professional wrestler/bodybuilder/actor. Was frail the last time he's been seen in public and that was over a decade ago! Has now outlived one younger, healthier guy he posed with around 16 years ago by...12 years. Bob Caudle (1930) NWA announcer. Hank Garrett (1931) Used a walking frame last year but otherwise seemingly doing well for an elderly professional wrestler. Nick Kozak (1932) Was alive in 2019, looked fine for his age. Steve Novak (1932) Should be alive, was pretty frail in 2019. Caswell Martin (1932) Should be alive? Sam Betts aka. Dwight J Ingleburgh (1933) UK wrestler doing fine for his age according to facebook posts from last year. Max Crabtree (1934-2023) I assume he's still alive and would get some media attention when he dies, but looked pretty decrepit around 2014. Bob Uecker (1934) Baseball guy, WWE HOF Dory Dixon (1935) wrestler and later seventh day preacher. There's an image of him somewhere from 2022 but it's quite low quality. Hisashi Shinma (1935) Former WWF president, this is the guy who said Inoki will never die but ended up being the neverdying one himself. Seemingly doing well. Horst Hoffman (1935) Czechoslovakian originally. Should be alive as wrestling facebooks post about him four times a month. Earl Maynard (1935) Bodybuilder/wrestler. Tony Kontellis (1935) Made an appearance in 2020, looked fine, but again that's over two years ago Eddie Sharkey (1936) Trained tons of wrestlers, now outliving them. Beverly Shade (1936-2023) Has a facebook account and doing well. Irma Gonzalez (1936) Emile Dupree (1936-2023) Most recent pictures I could find from the early 2010s, however his famous son mentioned him in December 2021 Eddie Morrow (1936) ? Mark Lewin (1937) Hasn't made appearances in ages as far as I know. Paul Butcher Vachon (1937) Decrepit ten years ago, in interviews from the last two years he has looked and sounded like he could die any minute. How's he alive? Jim Breaks (1937/1940-2023) demented wrestler-murderer Steve Veidor (1938) Ted Turner (1938) WCW founder, ex-owner, lewy body dementia Omar Atlas (1938) Said to be doing well. Brian Goldbelt Maxine (1938) Doing amazing apparently. Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie (1936/1939-2023) Doing well for his age whatever it is. Lumberjack Pierre (1939) I assume he's still alive but not seen in years Jim Herd (1939) WCW executive Lars Anderson (1939) ? Tinieblas (1939) Luchador names 1940-1942: Baron Van Raschke (1940) The Iron Sheik (1940? 1942? - 2023) Looked half dead for ages but that hasn't stopped his social media accounts from posting tons of messages each day. Sweet Daddy Siki (1940) Retired from karaoke hosting in June 2022. Les Thatcher (1940) Had covid and pneumonia in early 2021. Adrian Street (1940-2023) Spiros Arion (1940-1997?) 99 percent sure he's long dead, but some claim he lives. Alan Kilby (1940) Len Kojak Shelley (1940?) Super Destroyer Pete Roberts (ca. 1940/1941) Ivan Putski (1941) Abdullah the Butcher (1941) Obese, hepatitis, chainsmoking. Still alive and somehow doing relatively well. Dory Funk Jr (1941) Gino Brito (1941) Thunderbolt Patterson (1941) Kendo Nagasaki Peter Thornley (1941) Teruo Takahashi (1941) Japanese referee Johnny Saint (1941/1942) Mil Máscaras (1942) One of the most notable luchadors. Ole Anderson (1942) Afa Anoa'i (1942) Jimmy Valiant (1942) JJ Dillon (1942) Seiji Sakaguchi (1942) Japanese wrestler who was at Inoki's funeral. Looked fine. Tony Condello (1942) IWA founder The Great Kojika (1942) Ken Patera (1942/1943) Superstar Billy Graham (1943-2023) Superstar Bill Dundee (1943) Lost multiple family members in 2021. Robbie Ellis (1943) Flying Fred Curry (1943) Betty Niccoli (1943/1946) Alive?/Can't find much anything (mostly copied from the previous list): Cowboy Bob Ellis (People say he's alive but apparently nobody knows for sure), Allan Pinfold (Mentioned that he's been wrestling from atleast ca. 1938, so could be a bit older than 93. There seems to be only one picture of him on the internet from the last decades), Octavio Gaona Jr. (someone who claims to be his grandson is on facebook), Keita Meretana (Alive? Has had a wikipedia page since 2008), Guillotine Gordon, Paul Diamond (didn't look so bad in the 1990s, however, it's been a while), Yukiko Tomoe, Larry Pitchford/Beauregarde, Black Gordman, Edouard Etifier, Raúl Reyes, Big Bill Verna/Verne, Kathy Starr, Fred Peloquin, Tommy Seigler, Paul LeDuc (not to be confused with the film director), Bette Boucher.

There's been some discussion on this over on the Wrestling Heritage site: one name that should be on the list here is "Super Destroyer" Pete Roberts who's believed to be around 82. Last Kent Reunion he attended, he looked little different from his wrestling days and indeed, looked like he could still manage a few rounds!
