Just imagine how much fun the patron saint of cool new technology would have had with every advance since 2001. A genuine and proper genius who had the foresight to completely see where the internet and video games and even social media were going to go, but snuffed it before he could enjoy any of the fun bits. MariNisia 4,180 Posted May 13, 2021 Gary Cooper, one of Hollywood's most beloved legends and greatest stars known for his natural acting style and generally admired for his professionalism, died of prostate and colon cancer while sleeping peacefully under sedation. Cooper, winner of two Academy Awards and one honorary, died in the quiet of his Holmby Hills home on this date in 1961. He was 60 years old. He was 64 years old. Sammy Davis Jr. was one of the greatest pop-culture icons of the 20th century. His nickname was "Mr. Show Business". Sammy Davis Jr. was a chain smoker (four packs of cigarettes a day). When he died, he was in debt. To pay for Sammy's funeral, most of his memorabilia was sold off. Sammy Davis Jr. was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. Randall, fondly remembered for his role as Felix Unger in a television adaptation of the 1965 play "The Odd Couple" by Neil Simon for which he won an Emmy Award, appeared in many films, including "Pillow Talk" (1959), "Lover Come Back" (1961) or "Send Me No Flowers" (1964). He said: "Marilyn Monroe was no fun to work with. She would report to work around 5:00 in the evening. You've been in make-up since 8:30 in the morning waiting for her". Tony Randall died in his sleep at NYU Medical Center of pneumonia that he had contracted following coronary bypass surgery.
