honez 79 Posted June 13, 2010 ...Germany 4 Australia 0 (Sorry honez) ... I might have to eat my hat tomorrow, but I reckon it's got draw written all over it. And it'll really rile the krauts for added benefit. I think the Serbs and Ghana will beat the Socceroos though. Hat soup for me. Nice predicting HCW.

time 8,534 Posted June 16, 2010 Is anyone else having their enjoyment of the World Cup ruined by that horrible droning? Not the vuvuzela, Mick McCarthy on the BBC.

harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy 1,673 Posted June 16, 2010 Why do millions watch the Premiership? Because it has exciting and entertaining (admittedly not always top quality) football. Why do millions watch the World Cup? I have no idea. I'll go for the Argies.
Rotten Ali 600 Posted June 17, 2010 My guess is that the 3 matches will all finish 2-0 Argentina 2 South Korea 0 Greece 2 Nigeria 0 France 2 Mexico

Death Watch Beatle 41 Posted June 17, 2010 I know nothing about football but I'll have a go. Germany 2 Serbia 1 Slovenia 1 USA1 Englad 2 Algeria 0 OK, let's have a go at this: Germany 3 Serbia 0 - the Germans are the only team that have actually played with this bloody football on a regular basis, so another big win for them - cheating gits! Slovenia 0 USA 2 - the USA can smell English blood - they will go on to win the group thus throwing the English the the German lions in the next round. England 1 Algeria 1 - the 2nd of my predicted crap and boring draws thus leaving England to win the last game with a winning goal at the death and a 2nd place slot in the group. themaninblack 2,112 Posted June 17, 2010 Germans will have an anti-climax from the Australian demolition and the Serbs will sneak a draw - 1-1. USA to find themselves in a good position to qualify 1-0 against Slovenia Ingerland vs Algeria: Why do I think this has echoes of Monterrey 1986? 0-0 anybody? oh alright, 2-0 to Ingerland then! Tuber Mirum 125 Posted June 18, 2010 Well the garlic eating war criminals managed to beat the sausage eating... er... Germans. If I were that ref, I'd have let Serbia win too, if only to save my own life.

Paul Bearer 6,045 Posted June 18, 2010 Well, it's half time in the In-gur-lund game. Looks as if good ole DWB's predictions are coming true. Did you have a line on DW?

Death Watch Beatle 41 Posted June 18, 2010 Well, it's half time in the In-gur-lund game. Looks as if good ole DWB's predictions are coming true. Did you have a line on DW? This whole affair is so, so England. I love my football but my enthusiasm for the national team is no better than that of the players that represent us. I felt I had wasted two hours of my life watching that dross tonight. I have no doubt we will qualify but will make no friends in doing so. DWB

DWB Where does the money come from to pay the team, its entourage and its 5* hotel bill? If it is in anyway funded by the taxpayer can one ask for a rebate or at least a reimbursement for the money wasted on beer tonight?
