Rest assured if I could post from the future I'd have been posting this weekend's lottery results and the winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, dead pools would have been a little bit further down the list . Thanks Bou, I hadn't realised it was my anniversary today, for some reason I was thinking May. It was indeed a day to celebrate, 6 years on the DL, I got my first hit on the DDP this year and the sun shone, which meant I could sit in the garden with a pot of coffee, my breakfast, a book and even wear sunglasses. Then fate decided to remind me I am a Scot... It clouded over after 45 minutes of me basking, I came in, checked the computer to find Elizabeth Taylor had died and no-one had posted it on the DL. For once I thought I'd finally get to be the first person to report the death of one of the 50 DL picks, tried to log in to deathlist.net and my f*cking computer froze, took it 20 minutes to unfreeze (despite my desperate attempts at CtrlAltDelete) by which time The Unkown Man and Spade Cooley had both posted When I went back to the garden, the rain was on, my washing was soaked and my dog had knocked over the table I was using and had broken my mug and coffee pot, thankfully the little bugger hadn't trodden on the broken glass. Ah well, year no. 7 looks like it is set to continue in the same way as the last 6, posting crap and not giving a damn about it, one day I will make a relevant post....
