The ones listed on Wikipedia's "living centenarians known for other reasons than longevity", but it's likely very incomplete.

Polish Wanda Półtawska got to 100 yesterday. Ravensbrück concentration camp survivor, physician and author, friend of Pope John Paul II. Had cancer in 1962 but was "cured" by Padre Pio (1887-1968), later canonised for "miracles" like this. Made news this March for opposing "abortion-tainted" vaccines. Very frail.

Just found out about Sabine André, Belgian actress born in 1913 who could be the oldest actress alive (correct me if I’m wrong)

Can't tell if you're being serious or not...

It's an unsourced Wikipedia page that is missing a date of death, and because there is no date of death, some editor has put 2 + 2 together and got 5. A quick Google reveals there's been nothing on her in decades.

well apparently I'm completely wrong and dumb at the same time but here is a few French centenarian names that I just found about and that I never heard off here

• Dorette Ardenne (b.1919) : oldest French actress

• Lucienne Legrand (b.1920) : French actress

• Jean Pierre Gredy (b.1920) : author

• André Chandernargor (b.1921) : French politician

• Michel Klein (b.1921) : veterinarian and animator

• Valérie André (b. 1922) : pilot and resistant

I let you decide wether they're alive or not, apparently the absence of death certificate doesn't mean that people are alive and you look like an expert in this field.

The top one (Marie Claire fashion magazine?) looks like a bad case of journalism copying something they read on a poorly rated web forum or Wiki page.

The bottom one looks like a data scrubbing site, which aren't always reliable and often out of date. However, I'm not familiar with that particular site and can take a look. What's the link?

That isn't a death record index like MatchID. It's just an online archive of assorted shit. Plus it references Wikipedia and WorldCat.

Believe what you want, but she's dead.

Sometimes mentioned on this forum, Mihai Șora, Romanian philosopher who will be 105 next month apparently has a facebook account:

He has posted on it three times during the last 24 hours.

Celebrated his 105th birthday:

Looks really great for a 105-year old.

From his facebook, translated:

"And I took 5 in my arms. (I'm small, but you're big.) (tree emoji) P.S. 105 years, ie 38,351 days. 920 424 hours. 55,225,440 minutes. 3,313,526,400 seconds."

A quick Google suggests he's barely notable. A lot of vaguely notable individuals get Wiki pages because there's an obsession amongst some users to create pages for people aged 100+.

Helmut Ashley another recent example of someone aged 100+ who died off radar who really wasn't that notable a name in cinema.

Jessie Lichauco hasn't even received one mention of her death outside of Facebook. She only got a Wiki article aged 102. Would she have gotten one if she died aged 80? Probably not. Her family really seem to have pushed her profile in recent years.

There are lots of Resistance members still alive so one of their deaths in itself isn't notable. I think there is only one White Rose member still alive (Traute Lafenz, aged 102) so she will definitely get obits in France, Germany and the UK when she dies.

Lichauco was kind of a "family of

the famous" name, as she was the widow of a diplomat. Not really sure how much her charity work actually contributed to her fame.

Hure was certainly more famous, atleast in my opinion for being an ambassador of France three times (to Cameroon 65-68, Israel 68-73 and Belgium 73-80)

Most of the "notable living centenarians" wikipedia list seems to be made up of people who have gained fame very late (S. Kowalski, D. Carlsson...), are slightly famous for other reasons than age but wouldn't have gotten a wiki page at, for example 90 (probably over half of them) or the family of the famous types (the first ladies, spouses of famous people, other family) and the actual amount of others is probably pretty small.

Boris Pahor, Art Rupe, Lise Nørgaard, Marsha Hunt, Rene de Obaldia, Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, June Spencer, James Lovelock, Nehemiah Persoff and Charles Njonjo are some of the ones who don't fit in those categories from the 101+ ones.

Lloyd McCuiston (wiki), member of the Arkansas House of Representatives (1961–1994) and its Speaker (1981–1983), dead at 103.

He was also the oldest living male politician in the U.S. (now its Howard Bier, b. 1919, wiki), and a WWII veteran.

EDIT: Also a pick in the Electoral deadpool... if that thing's even still going.
