It's good though imho to have plenty to choose from than not enough. Good luck though on your final selections but you will do fab I'm sure. Hopefully.. I guess I feel I have a good possibility that 2025 can only go up from 2024 considering I only got 8 hits this past year.

I have only been around here for a few years, so I can't be sure of this. Some of the older members may be able to confirm. I think the "committee" meets up in a pub on December 31st, and drunkenly scrawls down names on whatever they can find. At approximately 11.30pm they pick 50 of them, ranking them on how legible the names are on the beer-mats.. 1
The Unknown Man 594 Posted 8 hours ago My 2024 Shadow list was a little bit of a letdown with just 11 deaths, still well short of my 2020 record of 24. Ian Smith should not be famous enough for list in my mind (although will get BBC obit for sure). Khamenei definitely famous enough but I can see him going into 2026. Clint Eastwood and Brigitte Bardot were two last minute take aways.

livingbygrace 435 Posted 1 hour ago I have a few people that are on my list that I am still debating on. They seem to be wasted picks because they do not seem to be in any real danger, except for their age. But a part of me does not want to take the chance of having them as a miss because they are people that are kind of iconic for me. At the same time I think to keep them on am I missing out on others that might be more of a sure hit for the year.Mainly.. Marion Ross 96 Tina Louise 90 Julie Andrews 89 Barbra Eden 93 I think in the end I am just going to keep them.. But if the Pope, Frankie Vallie or Rupert Murdock dies this year I am going to kick myself
