I really just meant a complete list of people picked by our ?mourners? -so that we all know who to cheer on from the sidelines, as it were.

Ah, I see.

How's this? There are 188 picks in our funeral home, and this is cut and pasted straight from there.  The list is viewable if you open the funeral home, and click the blue tab near the top.

I have started a DSCDP funeral home.  https://www.dougstanhopescelebritydeathpool.com/Director/Home?viewingId=3251

Here are the rules in full:

Final Jeopardy Funeral Parlor:

In order to join, you must provide me with an email address and you should take Pay Pal. Give me the email address that uses Pay Pal!

February:  First Royal Family member of the month (all monarchies around the world are considered, even dormant ones such as Greece).  If no royal dies this month, prize swings to March and so forth  $25 prize

March  You have the hit with the first celebrity of the month with a first name starting with C $30 prize

April:  :  First score for celebrity who has at least three of the EGOTS  (consult https://ew.com/awards/30-stars-who-almost-have-an-egot/ and make sure you know https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_who_have_won_Academy,_Emmy,_Grammy,_and_Tony_Awards   $75 prize

May:  First Capricorn corpse of the month (born between Dec 22 and Jan 20)  $15 prize

June: First musical star of the month (all musicians and composers of all musical genres count) $40 prize

July:  First under-50  woman to die in July $20 prize

August:  First under-50 man to die $10 prize

September:  First celebrity born under the sign of Virgo to die:  birthdates from August 23-September 22 $45 prize

October:  First writer to die (note that writers must have a published poem, article, or other work that is not self-published.  A blog will not count.) $35 prize

November: lowest score in the home thus far $100 prize

December:   Austen, Beethoven, Kandinsky,  Zoltán Kodály, Sir Noël Peirce Coward Memorial Birthday Awards:  You have a death on December 16th 2020.  If nobody wins, the prize will move to December 17th etc.  $50 prize

Months will start on Eastern Time each month.

Some rewards will be instantly awarded but others will wait until the end of the month to determine in which case money will be awarded on the 1st or 2nd of the subsequent month—for example, if you have Virgo die on August 31st, it will not count.  If you have a Virgo die on September 1, you are a winner

I will use the gender that appears to be current:  for example, Chaz Bono is a man and Caitlyn Jenner is a woman

In case of ties, all winners will be paid.  If the money is too substantial, you might need to share a partial payment with others.  I am the final arbiter.

Guarantee:  I will NEVER select myself as a winner.  If I win in any month, the runner up gets the prize.

The funeral home closes on January 31st.

I will evict people who get combative!  This is for the ghoulish-spirited yet pleasant people.

The good news for you is if Henry Gray goes in Feb then he becomes an extra 50 point bonus way more then the solo bonus

Right you are. A good back up if he hangs on until then. But I'm a greedy man, perhaps he'll OD in a hot air balloon on his birthday.

Blimey...our team member who has grabbed 70 points looks to have a well dodgy team....but there he is out in front (so what do I know?)

So we're on the move! Heck of a hit, Egil Krogh, Chicago lawyer. First blood and solo bonus. 5 hits site wide, so not a total sleeper, but nicely done. Now the grind begins. Can he hold the lead?

5 folks had Terry Jones at the DSCDP, for 23 points each.  More points on the board, we are well into it now.

By my calculations,  if just one person had had the thought to take a flyer on Kobe Bryant,  he would have been worth 234 points.

There's a new pool over at DSCDP, called Canadian Bacon. All picks must be born in Canada. It'll be a challenge, and it's sure to be polite. Locks down in 11 days.

Me to my spouse: "Hey my dream was answered eight minutes ago!" [Tells spouse about Canadian Bacon game]

Me to family: "I began a list seven minutes ago. Guess how many I have now."

Family in unison; "Twenty."

They were correct. Looks like I have to wait until October to load up on the Coffin Crisps.

I’ve watched enough hockey in my time and know enough bands people think are American. I might give it a go.

So a wee bit of action in the Fossorius Endeavour funeral home over at the DSCDP, with the deaths of Chris Doleman and John Andretti.  There is a 4 way tie for first, and a 4 way tie for second right on their heels.  At this early juncture, our pool is ranked number 3 ( out of 83 in the site ), so a pretty good appearance by us so far.  I still think we can hit #1.

Bernard Ebbers has moved Jemmie Duffs into the lead, with Chorizo pulling into the trailing draft of the chase pack.  22 points isn't a huge hit, no bonuses awarded, but it could make all the difference in the end.

Personally, Ebbers was a last minute cut from my team. Never second guess. Except sometimes.

Fast and furious at Fossorius Endeavor.  The rest of us thought Daniel arap Moi would be a measly 5 point hit when he died, and left him off our lists in search of meatier returns.  Haben die Spaten knew otherwise however, and picks up the solo and the Black History Bonus for an 80 pointer.  Not to be outdone, though, Chorizo comes up with Willie Wood, the same bonusses but more age points for a hefty 92!  These guys now sit 1-2 at the top of the Top 10 Leaderboard.  Heady times.

Tell us the truth, though, Chorizo.  How sweet would the Daily Double have been if you hadn't hesitated on arap Moi?  Another 50 points would have launched you stratospheric.

After a fast and furious start, things have slowed down in the DSCDP. But not to worry, trade day is on the 15th (and every 15th after that). Time to drop those mistakes, or one of them anyway, for a more promising prospect.

If anyone has former Prime Minister John Napier Wyndham Turner on DSCDP's Canadian Bacon Funeral Home, I recommend trading him away tomorrow as he doesn't meet the requirement of "Canadian born" (birthplace is Richmond, Surrey, England). A third of entrants were given "a boot to the head" for violating that requirement.

Well, I traded. The names I traded will be secret until trade period is over. ^_^

There are no concerns about QO for Henry Gray here. He puts Haben in the lead over Chorizo, who like many of us dismissed him as a sure thing, but only a 5 pointer. He gets 50 bonus points for the Black History bonus for February, though, for a decent hit after all.

In retrospect Arap Moi and Gray should have been on everyone's team cause of the BHM bonus, and for the fact if they made it to March they could always be traded later in the year anyway

Yep, you are right. I did that with Gray in the pay pools that started later, but I struggled mightily with my choices esrlier this year with so many possibilities,  figuring that if I didn't  take them now,  they would be unavailable later.  I also thought there was a real chance they would both die in January,  before the February bonus kicked in. Regardless,  it has sure made it interesting, and I have some ground to make up.
