gcreptile 11,066 Posted March 17, 2022 King Salman in hospital: https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/16-Mar-2022/saudi-king-hospitalised-for-minor-heart-procedure Just a minor procedure for his pacemaker battery this time, but he article also mentions his previous gallbladder surgery. We have mentioned something like that in 2020, but now the article speaks of "gallbladder removal", maybe that was a more recent second surgery?

The gallbladder surgery in 2020 was a "complete removal" according to Al Jazeera. He has a long health history including heart disease (and the surgery this time seems to be heart-related, atleast they mention a pacemaker battery change) reported to have suffered "atleast one stroke" before becoming king, spinal surgery in 2010 and on top of all this has (probably) been suffering from dementia for atleast 5 years.

Charles De Gaulle 487 Posted May 23 I'm surprised no one has posted any updates because there has been. His son postponed a trip to Japan over his father's health https://time.com/6979998/saudi-king-salman-health-mbs-postpones-japan-trip/ The next day he released a statement stating the king is in good health. Now that would be the end of it but. Indian Prime Minister Modi inadvertently spilled the beans by tweeting that he is "deeply concerned" about King Salmans health. https://time.com/6979998/saudi-king-salman-health-mbs-postpones-japan-trip/ As of writing this King Salman remains hospitalised
