Last Call for Entries!

The Nobel Prize Dead Pool 2024/25 will start on Thursday February 1st, 2024.

At the moment, we have 15 participants, including myself, who will join the game as last.

For everyone who will join the game, please note that you can only choose candidates, who are not already chosen by someone else.

@HellTwo of your candidates (Modiano/Literature and Campbell/Medicine) are unfortunately already chosen, please select new candidates. (Orhan Pahmuk and every writer younger than him can be chosen.)

Best of luck to all of us!

That's 2.410 points for @theoldlady. Please choose an new Medicine laureate.

His co-laureate Andew Victor Schally is now the last remaining 1977 laureate.

If he dies as well there will be bonus points @MariNisia.

John Robin Warren AC (11 June 1937 – 23 July 2024) had died. He was an Australian pathologist, NobelLaureate, and researcher who is credited with the 1979 re-discovery of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, together with Barry Marshall.[1] The duo proved to the medical community that the bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)[1] is the cause of most peptic ulcers.[1]

He was unpicked in this round of the game.
