William F. Pepper (wiki), NYC lawyer and conspiracy theorist, dead from pneumonia at 86.

Tried to prove the innocence of James Earl Ray in the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and the innocence of Sirhan Sirhan in the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

Part of the 9/11 Truth movement and advocated for the prosecution of George W. Bush for war crimes.

For anyone unfamiliar with the MLK conspiracy. William Pepper is featured in the video.

Always surprised he's not more well known for his work in the 1990's representing the King family during their lawsuit that resulted in a jury saying the US government killed MLK.

John Barnett, a former Boeing employee who turned whistleblower following his retirement, raising concerns about the firm's production standards, has been found dead. He was 62.  In the days before his death, he had been giving evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company. Barnett died from a self-inflicted wound.

Second dead Boeing whistleblower, Josh Dean, died to an infection and rare collection of circumstances:

Any more prominent whistleblowers?

Also, I had to look up my former DDP pick, and Australian gambling whistleblower Troy Stolz. He is still alive, actually doing well, and gained a wikipedia page since last year:
