Actually, I believe that I started an animal thread, when I joined.

You did one for Clinton's cat in your early days..

No wonder I couldn't find it. I remember there was originally a thread titled "Animal Antics"

Aye, that thread is on extra curricular.

I was looking in the wrong place then.

I didn't know we had separate threads, I've always stuck all animal related posts in Antics. Thanks for the heads up

Sad to hear. :( But how'd we miss this choice? He died from brain cancer.

Because it was only family and close friends that knew. Wasn't in public domain, plus, I get the feeling it was only diagnosed this year.

I'd read somewhere many months ago he was ill but obviously nothing to this extent. Maybe my death radar sucks.

Sad news: Dean Jones, 84, he of the Herbie movies. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/dean-jones-dead-disney-actor-819867

Complications from Parkinson's Disease.

Timely, as we just had a discussion that conclud d no one dies of Parkinson's. I'm no doctor but I call bullshit to this obit. No one ever shook to death. They were weakened which allowed other processes to ravage the body. Someone in the medical community prove me wrong.

Aside, RIP I was like 6 when we saw The Love Bug so Dean was an important actor in my youth.

Almost started a new thread for 'Television Producers' because Film Producers doesn't qualify and Holywood Possibilities infers film stars not TV (in my mind at least), but after over 1800 categories the last thing we need is further subdivision.

Merv Adelson, well-known producer of hit shows like "Knots Landing," "The Waltons" and "Dallas has died. He was 85.

Adelson was also behind TV favorites including "ALF," "Love Connection," and "Full House."

He was a co-founder of Lorimar television and was twice married to Barbara Walters, proving he must have accomplished all this while being blind.

JP Connell at 91 (Broadway and WW2 veterans were amongst some of the threads this could've gone in, but 3 days if the Condor means 'here').

don't you understand people hate originality so instead of creating original content they're making movies like the live action remake of dumbo and Winnie the Pooh which will contain lots of references that will be dated in 5 years time like the Alvin the chipmunks. Even as I kid I hated that movie.

Christopher Lloyd has recorded an extra for the 30th Anniversary release of the BTTF films.

Michael J. Fox did not appear.

Just saying.
