Guest Liebeskind Posted April 25, 2005 what about Mrs. T herself then? Why isn't she on the list? Or Augusto Pinochet for that matter? Also up there in years?
football_fan 42 Posted April 25, 2005 what about Mrs. T herself then? Why isn't she on the list? Or Augusto Pinochet for that matter? Also up there in years? You are right about Margaret Thatcher's name being omitted, but General Augosto Pinochet is #40 on the 2005 deathlist. Regards, ff
Guest Guest Posted April 26, 2005 come on Mrs T is onluy 79 and is notorius for her robust health..Gen Pinochet on the other hand is about 90 and has been omn the brink of death for years..how hes still with us only God knows
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted May 12, 2005 Small sidebar from election results in today's Salisbury Journal No Sir TedFORMER prime minister Sir Edward Heath, who lives in Salisbury Cathedral Close, appeared in public during the 1991[sic?] general election campaign to support Conservative candidate Robert Key. But Sir Edward, who was prime minister between 1970 and 1974, is now in his late 80s and was not well enough to take an active role this time. Despite not recieving any help from Captain Ted (or perhaps because of it), Robert Key actually managed to increase his majority.

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted July 1, 2005 Journalists love to slip in the odd joke. True story: Before the first gulf war Ted Heath was flown out to Iraq where he received and escorted a bunch of British hostages back to the UK. Because they flew out of Iraq in the evening they slept in Jordan before boarding a flight for the UK. Opening his report the following evening the BBC's man in the Middle East said: Edward Heath spent last night in Amman Boom Boom
HEADSTONE 0 Posted July 2, 2005 I think the lights are getting dimmer for dear ol' uncle Ted just like they did for the people of Britain in the 70's when power cuts became a way of "LIFE"

Guest Guest Posted July 15, 2005 Unconfirmed reports on reuters say that former PM Edward Heath has died at home aged 89 after a long illness.Heath was PM between 1970-74 and got the UK TO JOIN THE EU but he never forgave Margaret Thatcher for ousting him as leader and spent the last years of his life at loggerheads wit his own party over such issues as Europe and Iraq.He never marrierd and was rumoured to be gay. Dr Strangelove 14 Posted July 15, 2005 I've been on to the Reuters website, and have searched the web and have found no sign of this. In light of the fact that this is from a guest and contains many spelling+factual errors, I think this is a hoax. (Will I be proved wrong though?)
Banshees Scream 110 Posted July 15, 2005 I don't know Questy. I did a bit of a search as well and there was nothing pointing to his demise. "Unless it is to be announced"
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted July 15, 2005 Edward Heath + Death searched online a couple of minutes ago brought me right back here. So I guess he's still living, if you call 89 years old, bitter, twisted, grossly overweight and terminally in the closet 'living.' It's only a matter of time though..... Windsor 2,233 Posted July 15, 2005 Still nothing. Should we really believe a guest who has produced no evidence. I think he may be pulling our legs.
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted July 15, 2005 Re the 'rumoured to be gay' bit. You just wait till he stops breathing and watch those floodgates open! I refer the assemby of the DL to my earlier 'Ted Heath spent last night in Amman" story.
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted July 16, 2005 I suspect that this "highly informed" faker is also responsible for some other posts, like this one in the Ted Heath thread; ive heard that Ted Heath is now an invalid and does not have long to go.he could well die this year. Note the poor punctuation/capitialization. I can't locate the exact post at the moment but I recall a post a brief post about Patrick Moore's sexuality, showing the same fascination this poster has for Ted Heath's. Indeed that's what probably gives away this fake. Anyway a few notes for future "Ted Heath Death Fakers" Reuters starts with a capital letter. The EU was formed in 1992. With is not spelt wit. Married is not spelt marrierd. DONT PUT RANDOM PHRASES IN CAPITALS!
