Rene Auberjonois, who played Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and also had a co-starring role in Benson, among many other credits, has died.  He was 79.

I know it's a couple years now, but not sure if it's been shared here that Rene Auberjonois died via aid-in-dying medication rather than his terminal cancer.

April Nocifora, a producer/supervising producer on Star Trek: Discovery and a supervising producer on season one of Star Trek: Picard, died in December 2021. Her death was acknowledged at the end of the series debut of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on May 5th. Her death was apparently also acknowledged following the most recent season finale of Star Trek: Discovery, though she was only referred to there by her given name. Her death seems to not have been made public before then, as she was not included in the 'Star Trek in memoriam' put out by the Daily Star Trek News publication and included in a link to an earlier entry in this thread.

As noted elsewhere, actor Mike Hagerty has died. Credited as Michael G. Hagerty, he appeared as Captain Larg in the 1991 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'Redemption II' (the season five debut episode). He was Skoran, one of the townsfolk in the pre-warp civilization a disoriented Data wanders into in the 1994 TNG episode  'Thine Own Self'.

In addition to his other work, Kenneth Welsh - whose death is noted elsewhere - was on two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery in 2020 as Admiral Senna Tal.

Additionally. Kenneth Welsh above was a DDP Pick in 2018, so you know...http://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2018/celebs_W.html#welsk0

In Star Trek: Discovery, a Scavvy Hunt miss I believe.

A gentle prod that Kenneth Welsh needs to be added to the List of the Missed @Death Impends;)

(I may have missed something, so apologies in advance if I have).

Greg Jein, a Chinese-American model builder who worked on many a Star Trek miniature craft, working on the movies including the original apparently died in the last few weeks:

Created the mothership used in Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, and worked on such as Fantastic Four, Avatar, Interstellar and The Scorpion King. Oh, and Flesh Gordon. Yeah you read that right.

So out of the remaining TOS main cast, what will the order of death be? I'd go:

Nichols - Has dementia and apparently on her last legs

Shatner - Looks great for his age but that beer belly has to catch up with him sooner rather than later

Koenig - Don't know anything about his health but looked decent in a recent photo, plus outlived his 53 years younger replacement.......

Takei - Youngest of the lot with no reported health concerns

George Takei still seems to be in fine form.

Pictured here yesterday celebrating his 15th wedding anniversary.
