I hope this one hasn't been posted already, but apologies if it has:

http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf

Here's the instructions in English, in case anyone's Japanese isn't up to scratch

Everybody has to cross the river.

The following rules apply:

1) Only two persons on the raft at a time.

2) The father cannot stay with any of the daughters without their mother’s presence.

3) The mother cannot stay with any of the sons without their father’s presence.

4) The thief (striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member if the policeman is not there.

5) Only the father, the mother and the policeman know how to operate the raft.

Click on the link - then to start, click on the BIG BLUE CIRCLE on the right.

To move the people, click on them.

To move the raft, click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's not only a fascinating logic game, there's also some inherent insight into Japanese psychology/views of child molestation & incest

Something disturbing about this, I feel.

Not sure where to post this....Alistair Cooke's bones stolen

It begs two questions: 1. What happened to the skin?

2. Can you catch cancer from a bone implant?

Not sure where to post this....Alistair Cooke's bones stolen

I saw a Nacho Cerda short film the other day called "Aftermath," which was a grusome and unforgiving portrayal of necrophillia, which really made me wonder whether I wanted to be buried or cremated... now it seems that unless I end up owning my own funeral parlor, I'm screwed either way.

Is it possible to have a kind and forgiving portrayal of necrophillia?

Well they had that Kevin Bacon movie which was portrayed how hard it was for him as a paedophile to re-integrate into society... I didn't see the whole thing, so I don't think it was supporting his actions, more like forgiving them.

Anyone seen the whole movie to correct me on this?

1. I think they cremated it.

2. If the bone isn't rejected by your body then I would exect there to be a chance that the cancer cells would find a friendly environment somewhere in it. Can anyone confirm this?

3. Begs the question!

I thought I'd f**ked that up. Thanks for putting me right. I still don't think I really understand it. Sorry for swearing. I'm just enjoying the miracle of the asterisk machine.

While waiting for death to come a calling I play with my Matchbox cars, setting them on fire, crashing them, tossing them off coffee table bridges and of course eat plenty of Quaker oatmeal because it is the right thing to do and a tasty way to do it.

For all those members and guests that got air rifles for Christmas this year, why not play "Leon" by shooting at middle aged men from your bedroom window?

Are you a middle aged man voluneteering for target practice?
