Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2005

They have also predicted that it shall be one of the coldest winters (UK) on record so thats a bonus.

I doubt it will be that cold.

How is it a bonus?

None of the DeathList candidates resident in the UK are poverty stricken.

I'm sure they can afford to have very well heated homes.

They might slip on some ice or snow.

Apparently the Thames is going to freeze for the first time since 1962.

Sorry to disagree with you, but the weathermen/women can't predict the weather a couple of DAYS in advance, so what chance do you think they have of predicting the weather months in advance.

When I said a cold snap, I meant a couple of days, not the next ice age. :)

Actrually the weather forecasters can't even tell you what the weather is at the time they are announcing the weather....... :)

I find going around with my eyes closed adds a certain piquancy to life,

especially when crossing a busy road.

You really are best off trying this on 8 lane highways.......

Or they might be trampled underfoot by a woolly mammoth.

Has anybody told the Thames it's supposed to freeze over.

You really do put too much faith in weather forecasters.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I did say apparently. Perhaps we should ask Weatherman90.

ive got a feeling that there wont be any more deathlist hits this year  :(

We're coming into a cold snap now Iain, that might take one or two of them, don't be too down hearted ;)

There is still plenty of time, so I would not yet lose hope.

Regards,

Having gone out on a limb and quasi-predicted a DL graduation elsewhere, it is now the time. I reckon we'll be mourning the loss of young Claude within the month (that is, between Nov 15th - Dec 15th).

It will be sad to see him go, but I'm sure he'll be happy knowing that his passing is doing the DL a tremendous service. Plus, death always increases book sales, which I'm sure will be good for surviving family members etc.

Invite some friends over for a hacky-sack session. That'll kill a few hours...

This young chap has clearly been practicing. Don't attempt this at home, kids.

Go to Asda for the weekly shop.

Asda or Walmart lite as I prefer to call it,

has a reputation to maintain. They offered this lady a paltry £100, if this had happened in the US, she'd sue for hundreds of thousands of Dollars and probably win a sizeable settlement.

Sell your soul to the devil, then when he comes to collect, tell him Ozzy sent you, at which point he will say " Ohh sorry, I didn't realise you were one of his mates" at which point he'll use any excuse to buy you a big mac, chips & a shake!

Also watch out for the regular Xmas card :P
